Registration

• PRE-EVENT: Arts and Crafts Coordinators (12 hours)
  Design and implement the arts and crafts program. Oversee the craft at the event. Obtain materials. Propose craft to lead chair prior to purchasing materials.
• PRE-EVENT: Graphic designer- banner, flyer and postcard (12 hours)
  Design printer ready posters, postcards, park banner & program.
  Work to be completed by August 15, so PR team can promote the event.
• PRE-EVENT: Graphic designer- program (9 hours)
  Using artwork from banner design, create a program for day of the event.
  Work to be completed by September 9th.
• PRE-EVENT: Lead Event Chairs (12 hours)
  Lead chairs will oversee budget, overall layout & times of event, verify volunteer efforts, finalize all plans, and manage the speciality chairs.
• PRE-EVENT: Music Event Chairs - Organizing the bands (12 hours)
  This Spot is for the music chairs to register their time and talents towards organizing the music and Publicity.
• PRE-EVENT: Outreach Coordinator (12 hours)
  Outreach efforts leading up to the event and implement tech day of event.
• PRE-EVENT: Poster and Postcards distributers (6 Hours)
  Hang up and distribute postcards starting 2 weeks before the event.
  Each volunteer to cover different areas of Western Queens & northern Brooklyn (including the following neighborhoods: Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, LIC, Greenpoint, and Williamsburg). This volunteer activity starts after September 1.
• PRE-EVENT: Promo team (6 hours)
  Post event details for online calendars and to social media. Update Facebook page as event approaches.
• PRE-EVENT: Tech consultant - Lighting (6 hours)
  Plan lighting needs with co-chairs.
  Coordinate set-up of lighting the day of event.
• PRE-EVENT: Tech coordinator - AV coordinator (12 hours)
  Plans and oversees tech needs for the day of the event.
• PRE-EVENT: Video Editor (12 hours)
  Edit together 2016 Flicks & Jazz in the Garden video for digital promotions.
• PRE-EVENT: Web Designer (12 hours)
  Can be applied to the Mid Year deadline.
  This role could be split between 2 volunteers
